Immersive conference delivery for the Search AI community
ElasticON Tour Sydney 2025 brought together developers, architects, IT professionals and security analysts to explore how Elastic’s Search AI-powered platform is transforming search, security and observability. As part of Elastic’s global ElasticON Tour series, the event positioned Sydney as a hub for innovation, technical learning and industry connection.
Elastic engaged CAPITAL-e to design and deliver an immersive conference experience that brought its technological vision to life. The challenge was to balance highly technical content with an engaging attendee journey, while strengthening brand presence and encouraging meaningful connection between peers, partners and Elastic experts. With a target of 800 registrations, CAPITAL-e was tasked with transforming Sofitel Sydney Wentworth into a dynamic space for discovery, collaboration and community.
Designing for Learning, Connection and Brand Impact
The day-long conference featured keynote presentations from Elastic leadership, customer panels showcasing real-world Search AI applications, technical deep dives and hands-on workshops including GenAI, VectorDB & RAG 101 and AI-Driven Security. The program flowed through to a popular Cheers & Beers networking finale, reinforcing Elastic’s commitment to community-building within the developer and security ecosystem.
A standout feature was the Innovation Area, combining interactive demos with playful branded moments, including a claw machine activation that drew queues throughout the day and created shareable content extending the event’s impact beyond the venue.
Seamless Execution at Scale
ElasticON Tour Sydney exceeded expectations with registrations surpassing the original target. CAPITAL-e delivered end-to-end event management including venue logistics, creative direction, stage and expo design, sponsor coordination, speaker management, AV production oversight, catering and onsite delivery. The result was a high-performing B2B conference experience that strengthened Elastic’s local market presence while energising Australia’s Search AI community.
