Purpose-Led Charity Event Management at Scale

For the fourth year running, CAPITAL-e partnered with Rainbow Giving Australia to deliver the Aurora Ball, a flagship charity fundraising event supporting LGBTQIA+ communities across Australia.

Delivered as part of CAPITAL-e’s 1% pledge commitment, the Aurora Renaissance Ball: The Art of New Beginnings transformed Sydney Town Hall into an immersive celebration of generosity, inclusion and community.

Designing for Impact and Emotion

The event needed to balance fundraising with celebration, while spotlighting organisations supported by Rainbow Giving Australia over the previous 12 months. CAPITAL-e volunteered full end-to-end event management, from creative concept and venue logistics to production, entertainment and live fundraising execution.

The Renaissance theme came to life through chandelier installations, dramatic stage design, layered table styling and roaming performances. Highlights included Opera Australia artists and a surprise appearance from the cast of Titanique.

Seamless Delivery, Lasting Momentum

Guided by MCs Rhys Nicholson and Adriano Cappelletta, the evening seamlessly integrated live and silent auctions, pledges and storytelling moments that reinforced the purpose behind the fundraising.

CAPITAL-e managed all technical production, AV show calling, talent coordination, food and beverage service and volunteer management, ensuring an inclusive, polished experience for every guest.

The result was an event that not only raised vital funds, but strengthened connection, visibility and momentum for Rainbow Giving Australia’s mission.
