A high-energy launch event introducing Deel’s “Hire anyone, anywhere” vision

Deel officially launched in Aotearoa New Zealand with an intimate brand event designed to introduce its global platform and build momentum in the local market. With more than 20% of New Zealand’s working population based overseas, the opportunity to support globally distributed teams is significant  making the launch a timely and strategic moment for Deel’s expansion.

Deel engaged CAPITAL-e to bring its concept to life through a relaxed, high-impact event experience that combined brand storytelling with meaningful customer and partner connection.

Designing an Interactive, Locally Relevant Experience

Hosted at The Annex in Auckland CBD, the event welcomed close to 100 customers, media and partners for an afternoon of food, drinks and networking. CAPITAL-e supported the end-to-end event delivery, ensuring the experience felt polished, engaging and aligned with Deel’s bold positioning.

A standout feature of the event was a quintessential New Zealand “van life” themed activation, an interactive campsite-style setup that invited guests to explore and imagine the freedom of working from anywhere. The “Deel Mobeel” concept created an approachable and memorable way to communicate Deel’s core message while encouraging conversation and content moments throughout the space.

Launching with Energy and Connection

The event successfully created buzz around Deel’s arrival in New Zealand, delivering a warm, community-driven atmosphere that supported relationship-building and brand awareness. By combining strong hospitality with a playful, localised activation, the launch reinforced Deel’s purpose and positioned the brand for future growth in the market.
